Flapjack's
Since spring 2021, our kennel name "Flapjack's" is registered with the FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale). We breed under the rules of the German Retriever Club (DRC), which is a member of the "Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH)" and the "Jagdgebrauchshundeverband (JGHV)".
Our aim is to breed Flatcoated Retrievers that meet the breed standard. We value carefully chosen breeding partners, that complement each other in terms of health, character, working abilities and conformation, as good as possible.
We are equally happy to place the puppies with first-time dog owners or experienced dog people. However, it is important to us that the Flatcoat is kept and exercised in its new home in a way that suits its nature!
Until the end of the third week of their lifes, the puppies live in a big enough litter box on our living floor, which will be expanded step by step with growing activity of the puppies. Afterwards, the puppies move to our dogroom, where they have free access to a fenced part of our garden. From the third week on, the new owners can come and visit the puppies. A manifold socialisation is essential to us, that the puppies will be well prepared for their lifes.
The puppies can move to their new homes at the age of eight weeks. They will be wormed several times, vaccinated, microchipped and examined by a vet and an authorized person of the DRC.
After we have sent the puppies to their new homes, we would like to stay in contact to the owners and will, of course, help happily, if anything turns up.
If you are interested in our dogs or a future puppy, please send us an email or give us a call.
You can find more infos under "About us" and about the breed under "Flatcoat Info".
